FAMILY SESSIONS

THIS CRAZY BEAUTIFUL THING WE CALL LIFE. LET’S MAKE MEMORIES YOU WILL CHERISH FOREVER.

Time flies when you have a family and before you know it those cute munchkins will be heading off to college. I am here to help capture you and your family without the stress or fuss. Have a strong-willed kid? Don’t worry I’ve got you.

HOW I ROLL.

My goal is to create a relaxed, fun experience where your family can simply be yourselves. Before we meet, you’ll fill out a short, playful questionnaire so I can get to know your unique dynamic.

During your session, I’ll capture the classic “holiday-card” shots but my passion is in the candid, in-between moments that tell your real story. I’m not afraid to be a little silly to bring out genuine laughter—especially from the kids! I want them to remember our time together as fun and full of joy. That’s where the magic happens.

Family Sessions

  • My sessions all include personal styling for the family, and lots of one-on-one attention before, during and after your session getting to know you and your family. Once you receive your proofing gallery, you can choose your 10 edited images included in your session with the option to add more for purchase. If you can’t narrow down your favorite images within one of my package options, you aways have the option to purchase the entire gallery. After choosing your images, I can assist with printing options to complete that family wall gallery you have been wanting to put up, holiday cards or photos for the grandparents.

  • Sessions typically last between 30 minutes to an hour and are completely child-led. I follow your little one’s pace to keep things fun and natural—because when kids (and dads!) are comfortable, that’s when the magic happens.

  • Maybe you want photos in the mountains or maybe you want an in-home session. For outdoor sessions I photograph in the early morning or evening at golden hour to capture the best lighting. If your kids are on the younger side, I recommend morning golden hour sessions as the little ones tend to be the happiest then. If you are wanting an in-home or studio session, we have a lot more wiggle room with lighting for us to play with.

  • One of my favorite parts of working together is helping you coordinate outfits for your session. Whether you need help choosing pieces or pulling everything together, I’ll guide you with tips from a photographer’s perspective to make sure you and your family look amazing on camera.

  • Have a favorite blanket or teddy bear? Bring it along! These little details are part of your child’s story—and including them helps capture this season of life just as it is. Have a favorite family activity or hobby? Let’s chat! We can plan a session around doing what you love most and create meaningful, memory-filled images.
