On the day of your session, we’ll take a few of the classic portraits (yes, the ones perfect for holiday cards), but where I truly thrive is in the in-between — the playful twirls, the sandy toes, the quiet snuggles, the bursts of laughter that come when no one is posing. I’m never afraid to be a little silly, especially with the kids, because I want them to remember this not as a photoshoot, but as a joyful adventure. That’s where the magic happens.

Every session includes personalized styling guidance and my full attention before, during, and after our time together. When your proofing gallery arrives, you’ll select your favorite edited images (with the option to add more if your heart can’t decide). If you fall in love with them all, you can always choose to purchase the complete gallery. And once your images are chosen, I’ll be here to help bring them to life — whether that’s designing a family wall gallery, creating holiday cards, or curating timeless prints for the grandparents.

If your little ones are happiest after breakfast, I often recommend morning golden hour when their energy is bright and playful. Evening sessions, with their warm and dreamy tones, are perfect for families with older children who can linger a little longer into the day.

For in-home or studio sessions, we have more freedom with timing. The light filters gently indoors throughout the day, giving us space to slow down and let your family’s rhythm guide us.
